Portland swimmers travelled so far, had to worked so hard and swam so well. It was amazing.
Only a small number could make it to the gala in north Nottinghamshire, therefore those who were there had a huge task on their hands. However, the usual Portland team spirit was on display and the swimmers fought hard.
Despite the difficulties, over a third of the individual events produced some very good times and PBs.
